OUR
BEGINNING
The Fountain of Peace Ministries of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church
is a fast growing Church of God, where we share the love of Jesus Christ amongst ourselves as a family and the community at large.
Our journey began on the 16 of May 2004, when Mark Amadi and four others stumbled into the living-room of Min. Dayo Oladehin. Our journey could be likened to that of Saul who stumbled into destiny while in search of his father’s donkey. (The five were Mark Amadi, Gbenga Koledoye, Yemi Atanda, Deji Olayemi, and Dayo Oladehin- the host). In six (6) days, the Lord started a Saturday fellowship through us and we have never looked back.
These humble beginnings reflect the persistence faith, prayer and patience of a church that is destined to empower and change lives for God’s kingdom. We were only a fellowship meeting for prayers on Saturdays till the attendees cried out for Sunday worship, which had already been granted by God. But we were still waiting on the Lord for the “go-ahead”.
