Feast of Peace: Preface (Ps.107:1)
This Year’s Feast of Peace is themed ” The Bread of Heaven” (John 6:22-35
The Fountain of Peace had always look back on its humble beginnings and its history, in order to understand and rejoice in its prophetic mandate and future. Feast of Peace, our annual thanksgiving celebration, which has been instituted by God, is a remembrance of our humble beginnings, obedience to God, offering of thanks to God and an anticipation of God transforming us into His purpose (Isa.2:1-3).
The Observance of the Feast of Peace (Mt.14:13-21)
Feast of Peace is the ‘Festival of Ingathering’ and each spring, it brings together the Fountaineers and their relations, and friends to celebrate and to give thanks to God for His faithfulness towards us. During the Fountain’s Annual Thanksgiving, we just don’t only give our best but also come in our best (Mal.8:1, Mt. 22:37, Rm.12:1). Feast of Peace is an appointed time set by God for redemptive works such as supernatural blessings, healing, deliverance and turnaround, apart from our thanksgiving. It is a time of joy and of new beginnings (Ex.23:16). Remarkably, Feasts (moadim) in Hebrew means “appointed times”. What then is the significance of Feast of Peace?
The Significance of the Feast of Peace (Heb.12:22-23)
The first significance of the Feast of Peace is that it provides a reflection of signs; the visible assurance of God’s present and future promise to us. Secondly, it provides a reflection of the appointed times, which is God’s specific ordained times (events, such as feast of peace) He chooses to bless; restore, heal, prosper, change and empower us to walk in the supernatural to reign in His glory through Christ Jesus (Eph. 1:18–19 2Tim.2:12). The Feast of Peace is redemptive in nature (Lev. 23:4). We hope this will give you a clearer picture of the amazing, incomprehensible love of God as you consider His redemptive plan in the context of His appointed times such as the Feast of Peace (Micah 4:1-7).
The Spiritual Thing and the Spiritual (1Cor.2:13-14)
God uses event as a spiritual strategy in order to manifest His presence; His power and His glory where He fulfils purposes and promises. Feast of Peace, a ‘spiritual thing’ is an expression of God’s love for us. Like the Feast of Tabernacles, Feast of Peace represents God’s strategic power of restoring lost hopes. Feast of peace speaks of unprecedented harmony and peace (Rm.14:17-20). Consequently, we are not ignorant of the truth that God’s workings are mysterious and He can re-order the pattern anytime according to His purpose (Isa. 55.8-9). The Feast of Peace is celebrated every last Sunday in March. This falls within the month of Nisan – the first month of the ecclesiastical year. The Feast of Peace includes a thanksgiving worship service and a celebratory feast after the service.
Date – March 31st
Time – 10am -1pm
Feast follows immediately after the Service.
