School of Apologetics
(Sunday Bible School)
The School of Apologetics is one of the constituent Colleges of the Fountain Pastoral Leadership Academy – thus, works together with the central leadership of the church to outline the Scripture for the “Sunday School Bible Studies”, which is our primary means of teaching the precepts of the Scripture Apologetically.
Apologetics is the theological discipline that defends the truth of the Christian message. This School reports to the Fountain Pastoral Academy and is responsible for the Sunday Morning Bible studies.
The Sunday school is our foundational strategy for leading people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and for building on-mission Christians through Bible Study groups that engage people in evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship. “….but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence” (1 Pet. 3:15).
However, we are not into defending the Gospel message academically but divinely; giving the message its Biblical interpretation, meaning and application. The aim of this School is to teach apologetically- to empower people to know and defend their faith in Christ Jesus.
At FOP, we believe that Bible Study and Christian fellowship are essential to the life and ministry of our entire congregation. Thus, the Sunday Morning Bible School, which is the center of Apologetics, is divided into small groups for effective teaching and learning for perfection.
Perhaps it has been your desire to have answers that will explain, enlighten and empower you to uphold and defend your faith – and if so, come and learn more of Christ on every Sunday morning.
More so, for those who wish to effectively influence our world for Christ, we encourage you to carefully consider coming to the School of Apologetics – where you will be equipped to effectively traverse worldviews and grapple with the real and relevant issues of the heart and mind.
